With a library network was large as the US, it was a good idea for the ALA to form cohesive ethics documents. All librarians should review these documents periodically, especially if their own library does not have a policy in their institution's records.

Code of Ethics, and its interpretations. The most prevalent interpretation is on copyright.

LISTA, provides library and information science articles.
arXiv.org, offering digital articles in the sciences.
Information Bridge, offered from the Department of Energy for articles about energy.
NIST Virtual Library, a database supporting technological advancements from the National Institute of Standards and Technology.
PubMed Central, a medical and life sciences database offered by the National Library of Medicine.
